This game was one of the first projects that I’ve done when I first joined INNOVA Gameworks and Animations. The game is a platformer where me made our school mascot (the UTEP miner) the main character. The first level that we designed was a representation of one of the buildings on campus that every student has at least once gone to, the Undergraduate Learning Center (UGLC).

I was the gameplay programmer and the level designer for the game. I created all the game play elements and made a level generator that would create the level from text files.

This game was made with XNA since we had switched from using the Torque Game engine. I was also one of my first major C# projects. We created three levels before we had to stop continuing this project but the group was able to show off the game to other organizations at UTEP and has been used as a demo for recruiting new members.
