Who am I?

Hi there, my name is DuShaun Mikel Williams and I was born in El Paso, Texas. I graduated with my Bachelors in Computer Science at the University of Texas at El Paso. My main focus of interest is Video game Development, Mobile Development, and general Software engineering and construction.

What do I love doing?

On my days off I usually play video games on console, mobile, and on my PC when I’m not using it to work on personal projects here and there. I also build Gundam models every now and then. When I’m not at home I spend my time with my girlfriend and experience what life has to offer.

I also have my own youtube channel where I do tech reviews but in a way that helps consumers find products that will work for them or tech products that will bring the most value to them.

When did I decide to work towards my goal?

I’ve been a gamer for as long as I can remember. The first console that I owned was a Super Nintendo but I’ve been playing since the first at a friends house. Fast forward a little bit too early college I had already decided that I wanted to make games for a living but I just didn’t want to major in video games alone. I decided to go into computer science so that I can get a board understanding of programming and Software Design. Since then I’ve attempted and worked with many different approaches to creating systems, understanding web development, mobile application development, and as well as video development. I even had the luxury to work with others with different background disciplines to have a better understanding of the crafts. I have learned a lot from other people when I work on a small game project and experience what goes into the art, writing, and discussion of game design as well as keeping things on track. The story goes on from there.

Where do I want to go from here?

My goal in life is to work in the video game and/or animation company to develop the games that I like to play and ultimately have my own gaming/entertainment studio to have my own ideas come to life.

Favorite games that love playing (by title): Assassin’s Creed, Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Overdrive, Final Fantasy, League of Legends, VainGlory, Pokemon, Marvel vs. Capcom, Mortal Kombat, Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros.
